• Since the end of February 2022, Christian has been volunteering for Filmmakers for Ukraine, an initiative to support filmmakers and minorities from and in Ukraine. Since autumn 2022, Christian has been working as a host in the field of Human Rights & Art for Ukrainian refugees, accompanying them in artistic and organizational matters as part of a team with Greta Amend from the Superbohemians.
  

• Izmir Refugee Film Festival 2022. I wanted to live - Human Rights Film Project - is selected again for the Refugee Film Festival in Izmir 2022. Screening permanently from 12-16 April 2022 at the French Culture Centre’s Exhibition Hall (Institute Français de Izmir)

• I WANTED TO LIVE: Official Selection at the International Video Art Festival Now&After 2021 in Moscow. The festival will be held 7 – 26 September, 2021 at the fantastic Winzavod Contemporary Art Center . It will present all works selected for participation in the festival in 2020 which was postponed to 2021 due to the epidemiological situation. I feel honoured to take part with my film-installation as the only feature-length film contribution. The theme of Now&After 2021 is THE POSSIBILITY OF COLOR. The venue is Winzavod Contemporary Art Center, Red Hall 4 Syromyannichesky Lane, 1/8, building 6. The vernissage will be held 7 September at 7pm. For more info please visit their website.

• Mai-June 2021 I am invited as artistic director of the Superbohemians artists duo as actor & visual artist at the multidisciplinary Travers Camp Copenhagen - Confront the Future:

1. The city as a stage: Multidisciplinary Performance (HR) Stefan Kaegi Rimini Protokoll & Superbohemians: "How to turn the urban space into a story? Stefan Kaegi will research with the participants strategies to claim public spaces as trails of narration. Using bicycles, microphones, conspirative tokens and other ephemeral tools we will focus on performance as an act of walking - an artistic form of a treasure hunt." (Text Rimini Protokoll)

• "I wanted to live" - Human Rights Film and Installation by Christian Alexander Rogler - currently on exhibition at Klosterneuburg Monastery near Vienna - is extended until 15th November 2021.

• It is also nominated for St. Leopold Peace Prize for Humanitarian Engagement in the arts 2020.
